Founded in Hawaiʻi, for Hawaiʻi.
Lend Local is a Hawaiʻi-founded and Hawaiʻi-run business. We built it so neighbors can make a little extra from the things they already own — and so the rest of us can borrow what we need instead of buying it new.
Support local, for real
We’re not a mainland chain or a faceless app — Lend Local is started and run right here on Oʻahu. Every rental keeps money moving between neighbors and staying in the community, instead of leaving the islands.
Extra money for local people
Living in Hawaiʻi isn’t cheap. The gear in your garage — tools, boards, the camping kit — can earn its keep instead of gathering dust. We keep our fee low so most of what a renter pays goes straight to you.
Good for the ʻāina
The most sustainable thing to own is nothing at all. Every time someone borrows instead of buys, that’s one less thing shipped across an ocean and one less thing in our landfills — better for your wallet and the islands.
Where we’re headed
We’re starting on Oʻahu and hope to grow island by island. It’s early, and we’re building Lend Local right alongside the community we’re part of. If you’ve got something to lend, an item to borrow, or an idea to make it better, we’d love to have you in.
